We’re proud to shine a spotlight on Renate, who has been a dedicated part of the KPS team for an incredible 29 years! Born and bred in Kalgoorlie, Renate’s connection to the school runs deep, with all three of her children attending KPS from Kindy. Before joining as staff, she was an active member of the school community, even coaching the KPS basketball team to victory one year.
So, what’s kept Renate here all these years? According to her, it’s because KPS students are the best! Over the years, she’s seen many students come and go, but is always impressed by their kindness, inclusiveness, and sportsmanship. For Renate, it’s a testament to the wonderful school community she’s proud to be a part of.
Renate’s wealth of knowledge, loyalty, and varied experience have made her an invaluable asset to KPS, always willing to support students and share her expertise with other EAs. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and grandkids
