Meet Ash Ferguson, our dedicated principal. Inspired by one of his sisters, who is a teacher, Ash made the shift early in his working life from finance to education. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in various roles, including deputy principal, and brings a wealth of knowledge to KPS.
After joining our school, Ash was quickly impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm of both staff and students. He is particularly passionate about strengthening the P&C’s role and setting clear behavioural expectations to foster a positive and collaborative school culture. Outside of work, Ash enjoys spending time with his three young children, going for family walks, and watching sports. He also finds lawn mowing a relaxing hobby, appreciating the balance it provides to his busy leadership role. His ability to balance family life with his professional responsibilities reflects his commitment to fostering a supportive environment at both home and school.
