Nicole joined KPS at the start of the year, making the move from Manchester, UK to Kalgoorlie in January. With six years of teaching experience in the UK, she has taught both Year 3 and 4, while also leading PE and Healthy Schools initiatives. Now settling into Year 4 at KPS, she is embracing new experiences and learning all about Australian education and culture.
Passionate about collaborative learning, Nicole loves encouraging students to develop their oracy and language skills, while also trialling and implementing new strategies that benefit student learning. She values teamwork, enjoys sharing best practices, and is always eager to learn.
Since arriving, Nicole has loved getting to know the diverse KPS community, forming strong connections with both students and staff. Outside of school, she enjoys exploring Kalgoorlie, checking out local cafes, gaming, and watching sports—especially NRL, UFC, boxing, and the English Premier League.
