Originally from Mumbai, Luanna has called Kalgoorlie home for 18 years, with 11 of those spent making a difference at KPS. Following her mother and grandmother’s footsteps, Luanna always dreamed of teaching, and becoming an EA has allowed her to fulfil her passion for working with children.
Luanna has worked across Kindy to Year 3 and loves building connections with her students, appreciating their unique personalities. She also co-runs the Bonds Blocks program, an innovative maths intervention using manipulatives to teach concepts, already achieving great results.
Known for her calming and kind nature, Luanna is a cherished member of the KPS team. Outside of school, she’s an avid reader, singer, boot-scooter, gardener, and legendary curry maker who treasures time with her family and six grandkids
