Meet Heather Mandiri, a new addition to the Kalgoorlie Primary School team this year. Originally from Zimbabwe, Heather moved to Australia 12 years ago and lived in Victoria before coming to Kalgoorlie. In Victoria, she worked in special education and youth work at Berry Street. Inspired by her mother, a lifelong teacher, Heather decided to pursue teaching. Since joining KPS, Heather has quickly become a beloved member of our team, appreciated for her witty sense of humour and kindness. She teaches Year 3 in Room 9 and is making a positive impact on her students. We’re excited to see the positive impact Heather will continue to have on her students and the school community.
