Originally from Perth, Dayle has made a lasting impact at KPS since joining as our Maths Specialist in 2007. With a rich teaching history spanning South Kalgoorlie Primary, junior primary roles in Perth, and working with young patients at Princess Margaret Hospital, Dayle brings a wealth of experience to our school.
Her expertise with the First Steps Maths program led her to KPS, where she now mentors teachers, leads the Maths Committee, and coordinates our annual Mental Maths competition. Dayle’s passion for differentiation, intervention, and extension ensures all students receive the support they need to grow to their full potential. She especially loves seeing student progress and engaging them with hands-on activities that make maths concepts clear.
Outside of school, Dayle runs her own business and cherishes time with her family and grandchildren. Fun fact: she was a finalist for Primary Teacher of the Year and was even nominated for Australian of the Year
