Inspired by her mother, who has been an education assistant for years, Chloe was drawn to the role. Although she initially worked in real estate, her experience supporting her autistic son and admiration for his EAs encouraged her to pursue a career in education.
Chloe began studying early this year, joined Kalgoorlie Primary School, and discovered a deep love for her work. Her enthusiasm keeps her motivated, and she looks forward to coming to school every day.
Known for her positivity and encouragement, Chloe enjoys helping students believe in themselves and celebrating their achievements, such as completing a challenging obstacle course.
She recognizes that school can be a safe space, especially for students who may not have one at home, and is committed to creating an environment where they feel valued and supported.
Originally from Cunderdin in the Wheatbelt, Chloe attended St. Brigid’s College for high school before moving to Mandurah. She and her husband relocated to Kalgoorlie seven years ago, where they are raising two boys, aged 12 and 13.
Outside of school, Chloe enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Frankie, a staffy. She loves outdoor activities like camping, motorbike riding, swimming, and relaxing with friends.
One of her most memorable moments at Kalgoorlie Primary is the connection she shares with a kindy student who gravitates toward her during challenging times. The trust and bond they’ve developed make Chloe feel privileged to support and guide the students in her care.
