Tanya Boyd

Tanya Boyd’s connection to Kalgoorlie Primary School runs deep. A proud former student herself—following in the footsteps of her mum—Tanya now watches her own children grow and thrive at KPS. She’s been a valued member of the School Board for the past year, bringing a passion for school and community involvement to every meeting.

Born and raised in Kalgoorlie, Tanya has lived here her entire life and is well known in the local community. She joined the board to better understand how the school operates and to play an active role in shaping the learning environment her children—and all KPS students—experience every day.

Tanya is especially passionate about contributing to the positive, inclusive culture that makes KPS so special. She loves that students, staff and families are all warmly greeted and respected, creating a space where everyone feels welcome. Whether it’s helping with events or rolling up her sleeves behind the scenes, Tanya is always eager to be involved and get things done.

Her community contributions extend well beyond the school gates. Tanya is the Secretary of the Kalgoorlie Primary P&C Association, Treasurer of the Hannans Cricket Club, and a Committee Member for the Goldfields Children Charity—highlighting her ongoing commitment to supporting children and families across the region.

With her strong ties to KPS, proactive attitude and genuine investment in the school’s success, Tanya is a valued member of the board and the broader school community.
