Rachel has been an integral part of the KPS team since 2014, teaching in Pre-Primary and Kindy and bringing her passion for play-based, interactive learning to our youngest students. Originally from the Pilbara, she has also lived in Perth and the South West before settling in Kalgoorlie.
Before becoming a teacher, Rachel gained experience in a variety of roles, including retail, real estate, and even security—working backstage at concerts and festivals! Her diverse background has shaped her ability to create engaging, hands-on learning environments that spark curiosity in her students.
Rachel loves seeing the hard work of her students pay off, knowing she has played a role in helping them grow and achieve. Over the years, she has also contributed to several committees, including Numeracy, Digital Technologies, and NQS Implementation.
Outside of school, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and helping run a small family business. We’re lucky to have her expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm as part of the KPS team
