Kirsty joined KPS this year, moving from South Wales, UK, just in time for the start of Term 1! With 15 years of teaching experience, including three years in London and 12 years at the very school she attended as a child, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our Year 3 team.
Kirsty’s teaching style focuses on collaborative learning, encouraging students to work with their peers to develop independence and confidence. She has a strong passion for literacy, ensuring students gain the skills they need to succeed throughout their education and beyond. Previously, she has worked as a More Able & Talented Coordinator, helping extend high-achieving students, and has also mentored student teachers and graduates.
Outside of school, Kirsty is an adventurer at heart! With three boys keeping her busy, she spends her time outdoors, going on bike rides and long walks. Having never visited WA before relocating, she’s excited to explore everything this part of the world has to offer.
We’re thrilled to have Kirsty as part of the KPS family and can’t wait to see the impact she makes!
