Physical Education

At Kalgoorlie Primary School, Physical Education plays an important role in our students’ development and overall health. Each week, students from Pre-primary to Year 6 participate in engaging and dynamic PE classes. Under the guidance of Miss Jacinta Henderson, our students not only develop their physical skills but also learn the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Our commitment to physical fitness is evident in our daily morning fitness sessions, ensuring that students start their day with energy and enthusiasm. Additionally, we have Faction Friday relays, fostering a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition among students.

Our dedication to excellence in physical education is reflected in our outstanding achievements in 2024. Kalgoorlie Primary School proudly won the interschool swimming carnival, the interschool athletics carnival, the interschool cross country, the Eagles Cup, and the lightning carnival trophies in soccer, hockey, and netball. These accomplishments highlight the dedication and hard work of our students and staff, making us a leading school in sports within our community.
