We promote Respect through kindness, empathy, and positive relationships. Inclusion is central to our school, where everyone feels valued and supported.

Mindfulness encourages self-awareness, well-being, and thoughtful learning. With Determination, students build resilience, seize opportunities, and strive for success.

Partners in

Learning

At Kalgoorlie Primary School, we believe that families play a vital role in a child’s education. A strong partnership between home and school fosters an environment where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

Through active involvement in learning, encouragement, and shared values, families help shape a child’s academic journey and personal growth. By working together with teachers, families strengthen student engagement, build resilience, and lay the foundation for a future filled with confidence, respect, and lifelong success.

🔴⚪ Eagles & Fever Cup ⚪🔴Over the past four weeks, our Year 6 students have had the opportunity to compete in both football and netball against other schools from across the Goldfields. The Eagles and Fever Cup competitions are such a great chance for our students to get out there, meet students from other schools who may soon become their high school classmates, burn some energy and have plenty of fun along the way.We were especially proud of the way our more experienced players stepped up to support and mentor those who were newer to the game. Every student got involved, had a go and represented KPS with great spirit.A huge thank you to Hannans Primary, St Mary's Primary School - Kalgoorlie, @O'Connor Primary School, Kalgoorlie-Boulder and @Kambalda Primary School for joining in on the fun.#kalgoorlieps ... 🔴⚪ National Simultaneous Storytime ⚪🔴KPS joined schools and libraries across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime, celebrating the joy of reading together. This year’s story, Luna Roo, had our staff fully hopping into character as soccer-playing roos, complete with green and gold spirit and some questionable athletic ability. We came together for a whole-school assembly, where our Year 6 students did a fantastic job reading the story to the rest of the school. It was a wonderful way to bring the book to life and share the experience as a KPS community.A special thank you to our librarian, Mrs Gaukrodger, for her passion for reading and the excitement she helps create across our school.A fun celebration of reading, imagination and the power of a good story.Australian Library and Information Association#kalgoorlieps ...
