Partners in

Learning

At Kalgoorlie Primary School, we believe that families play a vital role in a child’s education. A strong partnership between home and school fosters an environment where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

Through active involvement in learning, encouragement, and shared values, families help shape a child’s academic journey and personal growth. By working together with teachers, families strengthen student engagement, build resilience, and lay the foundation for a future filled with confidence, respect, and lifelong success.

🔴⚪ Variety Bash Rolls In For Breakfast ⚪🔴What a morning!Today we had the absolute pleasure of hosting the Variety Victoria Bash for breakfast, with close to 100 cars rolling onto our oval for students and families to check out.The cars were incredible, the costumes were even better and the energy across the school was unreal. From wild themes and hilarious dress-ups to some seriously creative vehicles, there was something to look at everywhere. Our students loved getting up close to the cars, chatting with the Bashers and being part of the excitement before they hit the road again and headed off towards Cue.The Bash is all about having fun while raising money to support kids in need and we loved being one of the stops along the way.A huge thank you to everyone involved for spending the morning with us and bringing such a great atmosphere to KPS.And of course, thank you to Queen Bees Coffee for keeping the Bashers, staff and families fuelled up and ready to roll for the big day ahead!Safe travels to Cue. We loved having you Variety Vic Bash!#kalgoorlieps Variety - the Children's Charity of Victoriatoria ... See MoreSee Less

🔴⚪ Science Week at KPS ⚪🔴Science Week was all about curiosity, questioning and getting hands-on with learning. Our Year 6 students were tasked with planning, preparing and teaching a range of experiments to our Year 1 students, giving them the chance to step into the role of teacher and share their scientific thinking with our younger learners. It was fantastic to see our Year 6s explaining concepts, demonstrating experiments and encouraging the Year 1s to ask questions, make predictions and explore what was happening.A great example of students learning through doing, leading and sharing their knowledge with others.#kalgoorlieps ...
