The Heart of

Our School

At Kalgoorlie Primary School, our values of Respect, Inclusion, Mindfulness, and Determination shape our school culture and guide our students in their learning and personal growth.

We promote Respect through kindness, empathy, and positive relationships. Inclusion is central to our school, where everyone feels valued and supported.

Mindfulness encourages self-awareness, well-being, and thoughtful learning. With Determination, students build resilience, seize opportunities, and strive for success.

Together, these values create a strong foundation for lifelong learning and positive contributions beyond the classroom.

Partners in

Learning

At Kalgoorlie Primary School, we believe that families play a vital role in a child’s education. A strong partnership between home and school fosters an environment where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

Through active involvement in learning, encouragement, and shared values, families help shape a child’s academic journey and personal growth. By working together with teachers, families strengthen student engagement, build resilience, and lay the foundation for a future filled with confidence, respect, and lifelong success.

🔴⚪ KPS Through the Years ⚪🔴This week we celebrate 130 years of Kalgoorlie Primary School! Today we’re taking a look back at how our school buildings have changed over time. From a two-room iron building in 1896 to the classrooms, specialist learning spaces and facilities we know today, KPS has continued to grow and adapt alongside our community.Over the decades, our school has seen stone buildings added, infant and junior primary spaces developed, senior classrooms built, the undercover area and canteen opened, the oval grassed and new learning spaces created for library, art, science and digital technology. Each building tells part of the KPS story. Generations of students have learnt, played, performed, lined up, sat assemblies and made memories in these spaces.Take a look through the photos and join us in celebrating 130 years of learning, growth and community at KPS.#kalgoorlieps #KPS130 #kpsthroughtheyears ...
