The School Education Act 1999 guarantees a place for every child in the compulsory years of schooling (Pre-Primary- Year 6) in their local school. Kalgoorlie Primary School is a Local Intake School that currently offers places for students in Kindergarten* to Year 6 who currently reside within the boundaries of our local intake area (as determined by the Department of Education). *Please note that Kindergarten is not compulsory and spaces are limited

- Full Birth Certificate
- Immunisation History Statement AIR (Australian Immunisation Register)
- Proof of address showing current residential address (Rate notice or current rental agreement and a utility bill)
- Family Court Orders (if applicable)
- Visa documentation (if applicable)
If you are out of our local intake boundary and are interested in enrolling you can complete an Application for Enrolment form (below), acceptance of this application is at the Principal’s discretion.
The following selection criteria are to be applied in considering applications for enrolment:

Child residing in the local-intake area who has a sibling also enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school. | Child in the local-intake area who does not have a sibling enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school. | Child not residing in the local-intake area who has a sibling also enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school. | Child not residing in the local-intake area who does not have a sibling enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school. |
