Meet Belle, one of our dedicated teachers at KPS! Originally from Perth, Belle moved to Kalgoorlie six years ago to take on the opportunity to work in a rural area. Since then, she’s brought her passion and dedication to teaching Year 1, Kindy, and now Year 2.
Belle became a teacher to make a difference for students who may feel “under the radar,” drawing from her own experience of struggling with academics and confidence. Her goal is to build strong relationships with her students to ensure she can identify and support those who need it most. She’s especially passionate about literacy, using direct explicit instruction paired with hands-on activities to reinforce learning concepts.
With a strong focus on student relationships, creativity, and a talent for art, Belle is a valued member of the KPS team. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, light gaming, and taking care of her kittens
